Funding for St. Maries Musica comes solely from the donations of individuals and businesses that share our love of music and are interested in expanding the cultural opportunities in the Southern Maryland area.
Although all of our professional-caliber singers are volunteers, we still must purchase sheet music and music licenses, and we pay a salary to our director. (There is no way we can adequately compensate him for all his work - but we do our very best!)
St Maries Musica is recognized by the US Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, which means that your generous donations are eligible as charitable deductions for income tax purposes. (Note: this refers to donations only. Anything purchased from this site is not eligible.)
